Welcome to Advances in ADHD, a new quarterly review journal, in print and online, designed to provide evaluated and critical analysis of the most important research within this dynamic field. ADHD is a common and chronic condition, for which there is a rapid accumulation of new information. Advances in ADHD has been designed to provide easy access to the increasing amount of data on our understanding of the malignancy of the disorder, the growing consideration of pharmacotherapy using stimulant and non-stimulant treatment regimens, the importance of non-medication based strategies for improvement of symptoms, and developments in delivery systems for therapy that ameliorate treatment compliance.
The journal was officially launched at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada, 20–25 May 2006! Each issue of Advances in ADHD features in-depth review articles discussing current and emerging topics of clinical interest (our "Leading Articles"). We also present an ongoing, systematic review of key articles as selected from the international literature by the Editor-in-Chief (our "Clinical Reviews", written by the Editors), alongside reports from the major international meetings.
Please feel free to browse this website. You need to register to access the full content of the journal. Registration is free to healthcare professionals. We hope you enjoy this new journal and find it informative and interesting. We welcome your comments, letters, and ideas for leading articles, case studies, and meeting reports.
